The REAL ID Act takes effect Oct. 1, 2020. It means a standard Washington driver’s license will not allow travelers to pass TSA security and board a domestic flight.

Oklahoma is one of just a handful of states that is not REAL ID-compliant. On Tuesday, officials with TSA reminded travelers that the REAL ID Act would be fully implemented on Oct. 1, 2020.
