Dozens of cars crashed in multiple pileups on an icy Interstate 70 as winter weather hit Colorado on Sunday morning.

Westbound Interstate 70 was closed Sunday near Glenwood Springs for a crash as snow fell on mountain roads, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Intestate 70 is closed at Jennings Station Road in both the eastbound and westbound directions, as of 8:10 a.m. Saturday.
