A one-day recreational smelt fishery in the Cowlitz River has been scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fishermen from Milwaukee travel to Ashland and Washburn to net for smelt on the shore of Chequamegon Bay in Lake Superior.
