Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney delayed election campaigning on Sunday after at least nine people were killed when a man drove through a crowd at a Filipino community festival in Vancouver, Carney's campaign said.

Canadian leaders made their final push for votes Sunday, one day before an election dominated by US President Donald Trump’s policies, but rattled in the campaign’s final hours by a deadly car-ramming attack in Vancouver.

As Canadians prepare to head to the polls on Monday, Liberal Leader Mark Carney returned to Saskatoon on Sunday afternoon to deliver his final message. It marks his second visit to the city during this campaign and the fourth election visit overall to the province by federal leaders.
