Val Kilmer returned to being Batman just five weeks before his death. The late actor, who played the Caped Crusader in 1995’s 'Batman Forever,' died on Tuesday, April 1 at the age of 65.

In his final video shared on social media, Kilmer could be seen donning a Batman mask — which served as one of his most successful roles in his decades-long career.
