For hundreds of thousands of people every year who dream of studying or researching in the United States, a student visa is the golden ticket.

Florida State University is the latest university in the state to confirm that several international students’ visas have been revoked. The university told the Miami Herald Monday that three students have lost visas. When a student status is revoked, the are no longer to attend courses or work legally under their student status.

Ten students – two who were currently attending and seven recent graduates — at Kent State University have now lost their visas, which is up from four last week, according to the university. Three UA students – up from two last week – are facing this issue, the university says.
