HENRY CO., Ill. - Illinois State Police seized more than 1,100 pounds of cocaine from a truck in the far western part of the state on Friday. An ISP trooper inspected a Volvo truck-tractor semi-trailer on Interstate 80 in Henry County around 2:10 p.m., state police said. The trooper found the suspected cocaine.

Illinois State Police arrested two Canadians, seizing 1,146 pounds of cocaine worth $40 million from their truck.

On Nov. 29, at approximately 2:10 p.m., an ISP trooper conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection on a Volvo truck-tractor semi-trailer combination on Interstate 80 eastbound in Henry County.

The Canadian men were driving a truck east on Interstate 80 in Henry County, Illinois. Police allegedly found 1,000 pounds of cocaine inside.
