One of the biggest up-and-coming country acts will perform the Thanksgiving halftime show for Lions vs. Bears.

As the Bears went to the locker room to regroup, Shaboozey added a bit of insult to injury for the road team, taking the stage for a brilliant halftime show that prompted jokes from all across the internet.

After being treated to a dominant first half by the Detroit Lions, the crowd at Ford Field was treated to a halftime performance by rising country music star Shaboozey.

Dressed in a blue letterman jacket to rep the Lions, the crowd danced to the music. Many people on social media were pleased with the music artists' performance

While Lainey Wilson is scheduled to perform during Giants-Cowboys and Lindsey Stirling is the halftime show during Dolphins-Packers, Shaboozey took the stage at Ford Field during the early game. Unsurprisingly, he performed his smash hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” along with “Last of My Kind” and “Highway.”

Shaboozey, a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, was announced as the headlining performer of the halftime show at the Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears game Thursday, the Lions said Nov. 10. Here's what to know about Shaboozey and the Thanksgiving Day halftime show.
