SEATTLE - Smash-and-grab thieves in Seattle made off with an estimated $2 million in diamonds, luxury watches, gold and other items in a daring midday jewelry store robbery that took just about 90 seconds, police said Friday.
According to Seattle City Light (SCL), an outage in Seattle’s Beacon Hill and Rainier Valley neighborhoods began just before 6 a.m., involving 6,554 customers. By 7:20 a.m., the SCL outages website noted that only 347 customers remained without power, and listed the estimated time for full restoration to be around 7:45 a.m.
