Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has been in charge of Xbox for over a decade and the company says he’s not leaving anytime soon, calling rumors that the longtime exec might be resigning when the next generation of Xbox hardware launches “completely made up.”

Amid mass layoffs at Microsoft, the company has insisted that Gaming CEOPhil Spencer won't be retiring "anytime soon".

The rumor surfaced today via Call of Duty leaker GhostOfHope, who announced on Twitter that Spencer will be retiring from his role as CEO of Microsoft Gaming after the launch of the next-gen Xbox.
