Alex Bregman's return to the Red Sox isn't imminent, but he's hopeful to be back in the lineup in the next few weeks.

The Boston Red Sox don't have Alex Bregman back in the mix yet at third base, but he's working hard to get back on the field for Red Sox fans. Bregman hasn't appeared in a big league game since May 23rd due to a quad injury.

The veteran infielder said he's running at about 50 percent full speed, and doesn't think he'll need a minor league rehab assignment.
