Ford is recalling potentially more than 850,000 of its vehicles due to possible fuel pump failures, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The vehicles affected include an array of models with production years ranging from 2021-23.

A recall is underway for over 850,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles that could have an issue with their low-pressure fuel pump that could cause engine stalls.

Ford advises that drivers may experience poor engine performance (misfiring or running rough), a check-engine light, or a reduction in engine power before the pump fails. The fuel-pump failure is more likely to occur in low fuel or warm weather and hot fuel conditions in the fuel tank.
