Lainey Wilson and Shaboozey drew into the coveted Lions and Cowboys halftime slots, the Packers went a different route with Lindsey Stirling.

The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions play every Thanksgiving, against different opponents, and then the third game is a selected matchup between two other teams. These three Thanksgiving games are also known for having halftime shows with some of the country's biggest rising stars headling them. Check out who's expected to perform this year.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! And Thursday means there's a lot of traditions to do, from the big meal to football. And in the past few decades, during those traditional NFL games, there have been some memorable halftime shows to enjoy.

While Lainey Wilson is scheduled to perform during Giants-Cowboys and Lindsey Stirling is the halftime show during Dolphins-Packers, Shaboozey took the stage at Ford Field during the early game. Unsurprisingly, he performed his smash hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” along with “Last of My Kind” and “Highway.”

No other musical performance has more live viewers than these halftime shows other than the Super Bowl halftime show, the NFL says. They're hoping to garner even more fans this year with their artist lineup.

The NFL has aired three Thanksgiving Day games since 2006, finishing the night with a unique matchup after the yearly helpings of Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys football. In 2024, the Miami Dolphins will head to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers.
