Lutz first joined the Broncos in 2023 via a trade deal with the New Orleans Saints, where he spent the first six years of his career. Lutz was one of head coach Sean Payton’s recruits from his former team, with Denver sending a seventh-round pick to New Orleans in exchange for the former Georgia State Panthers standout.

Kansas City sits at 5-5 and is currently outside the AFC playoff picture. They’ve lost five tight games and trail division rivals in a suddenly crowded AFC. Sunday’s matchup with the Indianapolis Colts kicks off at 1 p.

At 9-2, the Broncos are in a commanding position in the AFC West and currently hold the No. 1 playoff seed in the conference. But to win down the stretch and in the playoffs, as intensity levels rise, you have to be able to run the ball.
