The New York Rangers expressed satisfaction with their performance when they took the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights in overtime on a home back-to-back set last week, but the follow-up was highly disappointing.

The Rangers were shut out and out-competed by the Blackhawks, particularly in the bottom six and on the power play.

The New York Rangers have been one of the more interesting teams to follow so far this season. In 32 games, they have a 15-13-4 record, which gives them 34 points.
