Some Mardi Gras krewes are rescheduling their parades set to roll this Sunday due to forecasted rain. On Friday, Feb. 21, the Slidell Police Department reported that the Krewe of Dionysus will now roll on Friday,

Mardi Gras parades in Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes have been postponed or canceled due to weather. Mardi Gras parades will not run tomorrow across the two parishes due to bad weather. Parades scheduled Feb. 23 in Terrebonne and Lafourche have been postponed or canceled. Here’s a listing: Krewe des Couyons, to be determined.

Two krewes in Thibodaux also announced changes on Friday for their Sunday parades. Ambrosia completely canceled its parade for 2025 while Shaka rescheduled for Tuesday, March 4.
