Collins was a four-star prospect in the class of 2023. He has three years of eligibility remaining after redshirting last fall.

LSU appears to be losing a former top recruit to the transfer portal. After the Tigers ended the regular season on a high note, defeating Oklahoma, quarterback Rickie Collins announced his intention to enter the transfer portal.
