Opening Day in Seattle belongs to Logan Gilbert. The reigning All-Star and standout starter has emerged from one of the league’s premier rotations, earning his first Opening Day nod when the Mariners host the Athletics at T-Mobile Park on March 27.

After weeks of debate, intrigue and what Dan Wilson called “a very tough decision,” the Mariners manager and Seattle’s front office were finally ready to reveal their Opening Day starter on Saturday morning.

Despite being an All-Star last year, Gilbert thinks there's another level that he and the rest of the starting rotation can reach.
