Los Angeles City Councilman Curren Price pleaded not guilty Thursday to a pair of newly filed public corruption charges, which were added to the 10 felony counts of grand theft, perjury and conflict of interest he was already facing for allegedly voting in favor of projects in which his wife had a financial interest.

Prosecutors are expected to file additional charges against City Councilman Curren Price this week. He was first accused in 2023 of embezzlement, perjury and violating state conflict of interest laws for votes on city business that could have financially benefited his wife.
