The Twins have used six games against the White Sox this season to get better, if not well. With the chance for a series sweep on Thursday at Target Field, Minnesota couldn’t get much of anything

With standing water accumulating on the Target Field infield and warning tracks, Thursday’s finale against the White Sox was delayed after seven innings, and ultimately ended prematurely, with Chicago claiming a 3-0 victory.

The White Sox were able to somewhat salvage the Minnesota portion of the 10-game road trip, notching a 3-0 win against the Twins to avoid a sweep and improve to 2-11 on the road following a one hour rain delay.
