After a busy Thanksgiving week, teams in the Big Ten will begin stepping into conference play this week. It'll be an interesting gauge to see where each team stands.

With Big Ten play beginning this week, we can finally add a head-to-head element to these theoretical comparisons. Everyone plays two league games over the next two weeks — one at home, one on the road. Those programs who have hidden from competition in the first month of the season must come out of hiding.

Notable results from the week include Louisville’s 89-61 blowout win over Indiana, Gonzaga’s following 89-73 win over the Hoosiers, Rutgers’ consecutive losses to No. 9 Alabama and No. 20 Texas A&M, and Oregon ‘s 3-0 stretch against Texas A&M, San Diego State and Alabama.
