There's a new houseguest on "Big Brother 27," and they have shaken up the game. Following Thursday's live eviction episode, the houseguests competed in an HOH competition. Here's who holds power this week and which houseguests they nominated. Rachel Reilly is this week's Head of Household.
Later at the nominations ceremony, Rachel officially named her three nominees for eviction: Mickey Lee, Morgan Pope, and Vince Panaro. This is the first time on the block for the two girls, and Vince's second consecutive week in danger. They are the three remaining members of the "Melting Pot" alliance, after Zach Cornell was evicted in Week 5.
Each week, Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves will weigh in on the latest events inside the house exclusively with Entertainment Weekly. This week, she reacts to Zach not using his power that could have kept him safe, Keanu’s slow and steady competition approach, Mickey’s power play, and the Veto punishment costumes.

‘The Amazing Race’ season 38 cast is full of ‘Big Brother’ alums — including two sets of exes
That’s right, all 13 duos competing on season 38 contain at least one “Big Brother” alum. There are even two sets of exes: season 24’s Taylor Hale and Joseph Abdin and season 26’s Tucker Des Lauriers and Rubina Bernabe.
Equipped with a $10,000 safety option and a secret "BB Buy-Off" power, Zach Cornell chose to safeguard alliance member Morgan in Week 6 rather than use it. Instead, he intended to win the crucial Blockbuster competition and trusted in his social ties.
The Big Brother alum, 30, revealed the identity of his fiancée Emily via a YouTube video posted Thursday, Aug. 14. "Emmy," with whom Crispen shares 7-month-old daughter Carter Rae, has remained off-screen despite her fiancé's online presence following his stint on Big Brother' s 20th season.
